Basic room with a balcony and nice views. Front desk staff is very pleasant and speaks good english. Bathrooms are a little rundown and need to be upgraded. Not to far into town where there are some dining options and shopping.

Not sure why the reviews are so great. It's not a horrible place (for the price), but you can probably do much much better, even in the same price range. Service was so-so. Described in lonely planet as 'bland' I couldn't disagree more, yes the rooms were basic but had good bed, warm shower and Internet access at great value for money...we looked at poppies across the road and the rooms were more dingy and didn't look clean, the owner was really friendly and the food was pretty good!
