We had a large clean room with a small balcony with a view of Taal Volcano. Plenty of restauarnst within walking distance as well. The staff were very friendly - when our taxi failed to turn up on our last day they 'sourced' a driver and van to get us back to Manila. If you have a room with a... More

We stayed in this hotel for an overnight last April 27. The hotel is about 2-3years old, thus the room is newly furnished. The beddings and pillows are great (which is important for me in hotel rooms). Painting in the bathroom needs improvement though, including the floor level in the bathroom to avoid still water. We stayed in superior room... More

Great selection of breakfast buffet.. Pool unusable bec water is cold. Room is great if we had a view. Very clean, nice ambiance even as u enter the hotel... Great view of taal by their garden..located by the road so I think that's a plus minus...if u want to get out of the hotel, very easy, by jeep, bus, or... More

I recently stayed there with my family. We stayed in a third floor room (forgot if it was deluxe or something cause my parents booked and payed for it). The room was clean, had no problems with the TV or air-conditioning and the bathroom was very clean. They served a decent breakfast of the usual fare you could expect to... More

Got a standard room at the lower level for P4,660 (with breakfast for 2). No lake view, but has a picture window of a mini garden. Minus the bathroom, it is approx. 16 sq.m. The room comes with a mini bar and the usual stuff (bottled water, coffee pot, slippers, etc.) BUT they do one better in providing masks (for... More

The best asset of this hotel is the view. Everything was great except our rooms were located at the basement which hindered us from the view. Another let down was that the picture of the pool posted in the internet seemed bigger than it actually is. It is a bit pricey for a small hotel, but they make up for... More

Perhaps. I paid 5200 pesos for a weekend night ($130 USD) and this is what I got...clean, average sized room with two semi comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, balcony overlooking a nice manicured courtyard (further overlooking the lake). Other positives are free parking, a nice restaurant open 24 hours a day (big bonus), a decent Filipino/American buffet breakfast, and a... More

The Lake Hotel has one big advantage - a fantastic view of the Taal and the volcano within it. The Lake View rooms have small balconies which have the view but elsewhere in the hotel the rooms have little or no view (of anything.) The rooms are adequate - a little small but comfortable. The prices charged are inflated for... More

Very nice view, we didn't have to go somewhere else to have a good picture of the Taal Volcano 'cause it's just outside our window. The service was nice, all the staffs were attentive and friendly. We asked for a late check-out and they immediately agreed. We got the de luxe room, the space was just adequate for us. Just... More
