I recently spent a little over a week at the Hotel Sofia. The hotel is very nice although not luxurious. The rooms are very clean, and someone comes in everyday to change the sheets and towels. They even brought me two free water bottles each day. The rooms are medium sized, and the bathroom is actually quite spacious. The air conditioning is controlled with a remote, which you may have to ask for. I also had to ask for a clock/alarm since there wasn't one in my room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had actually made the reservations through my travel agent and therefore could not take advantage of the discount they were offering when I arrived. Because of this, they gave me free breakfast coupons for every morning I was there, which I thought was very generous. The hotel restaurant offers decent, reasonably priced food.
