Kotoni Hotel in Gjirokastra is a beautiful, clean and cozy place. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Our team stayed with the family for four nights and will visit again in March for another week.

The bus from Tirana dropped us off at the national road. We asked a taxi driver for the Kotoni house. He didn't speak much english but as soon as they heard KOTONI, he smiled and opened the door of his cab, giving me a thumbs up. The Kotoni's are well known in Gjirokastra, and I could see why!
They went out of their way to show me the best of the Albanian culture, food and historic sites! Very hospitable and their food is the best in Albania!
I will definately reccommend this wonderful place to my friends! more
