The hotel is quite new and in good condition, decor is contemporary, and facillities reasonable.
However standards of service leave much to be desired, and (with a few exceptions) the staff (and presumably management) are generally disinterested in the concept of customer service.
In summary:
- Neither phone no. nor email address shown on hotel website work;
- Room cleaned and serviced only two days of our week stay, hence basic tolietries ran out;
- 'Half-hourly' shuttle bus to gondola was irregular and inconsistent, leaving people waiting upto an hour for transport to and from the gondola;
- Breakfast only served from 8am and was delayed until 8.30 on two occasions, another problem when you're trying to queue early for the gondola;
- Hot water ran out at 7pm one night;
- No safe in room, promised next day and never arrived;
- Hairdryer broken, promised next day and never arrived;
