I visited the Monastery in Bankso in March 2008 with my girlfriend for a 4 day ski/board break. We are both experienced skiers/boarders and always look for challenging terrain both on and off-piste when we go away. I stayed in the Monastery with a group of lads for a long weekend away skiing. The apartment was well located for the gondola and local restaurants which was great for not having to stagger to far back to the apartment after a night out!!! We visited Bansko during August when the weather was dry, hot and sunny. The accommodation was excellent, well equipped and spacious and comfortably sleeps six. It is close to shops and a very good selection of reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance. It is ideally located for walking and the scenery is stunning.
