I am an independent, avid traveller. I spent two months in Peru specifically to see many habitats for birding. You've got to want to go to Amazonia Lodge to be anywhere near it. Used as a stop-over for many Manu tours, we used it as a final destination along the Manu Road as any further would take us into serious bug/frog hell (as seen by my wife) and this was the compromise.
