We had the worst experience at this hotel - particularly given we were paying 5 star prices. No one person helped carry my suitcase up the stairs. The staff at front office was very rude and no one speak English. Especially the front desk manager was very rude and he made us feel very uncomfortably with his insistence glance (looked... more

About a 10 min. drive from the parking lot to the trail to Petra. Large groups do stay here so at times the service can be slow. more

We stayed 2 weeks in Jordan and 2 nights at Marriot - Petra. The hotel is overall good, comfortable, the furniture is not new but OK and the service was good. On the negative side the bathroom was dirty and the room was not very clean too. The buffet was not so good, cold, almost any choice and they have... more

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott Petra for three nights and loved every minute of it. When we arrived (around dinner time) there were three people in the lobby to greet us and help us with check in. They were extremely helpful, spoke great English, and quickly helped us with our bags to the room. The room was... more

I only stayed in this hotel for one night, but I thought it was very nice. After spending a wonderful and very dusty day in Petra, it was great to have a strong shower and watch a gorgeous sunset from the Marriott. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The pillows were devine as was the mattress. The dinner buffet... more

This is quite a small hotel in comparison to the usual Marriott hotels but there were many good things about it. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom a little small and a little rough around the edges but clean and lovely fluffy towels. The staff were very courteous and helpful, although reception were sometimes hit and miss The food... more
