This hotel is about 5 min walk to the main gate into Petra, it's not like Guesthouse that's right on othe gate. However, it does have a nice bar for people to hang out. Disappointed by this place. At first you like the welcome and think you're in a nice place. I stayed in the Petra Palace for 3 nights. I had a single room and my parents who were also on the tour had a double. Their double room opened up onto the pool and was nice, my single however was in the old section and was terrible. It was dark, dirty and a stark contrast to the newer rooms.... more
