I arranged to stay in the Alanbat I out of town, which has a pool and a decent place to eat. On arriving, I was told that, sorry, this wasn't available and we would have to stay in the Alanbat II in town. Knowing that it was the height of the tourist season, I agreed to it and was driven... more

We stayed one night at the Al-Anbat II which is in the center of Wadi Mussa. The manager of this hotel also manages the Al-Anbat III which is right next door but is not the same person who manages the Al-Anbat I which is outside of town. The management is very nice and accommodating. He helped us out whenever possible.... more

There are 3 alanbat hotels all owned by the same family. Alanbat 3 is the newest. Both Alanbat 2&3 are in the centre of town but Alanbat 1 is far from town. Taxi to town from Alanbat 1 costs around 2-3 JD depending on how hard you bargain. Good I stayed in Alanbat 1 and the room was huge and... more

The rooms were average and breakfast was reasonable. We were pretty happy with the breakfast because there were more variety (more than the usual - there was cereal and sweet bread) that we got in most places we stayed at in Jordan. The staff was nice and friendly. Mu'hamed the manager was very hospitable and helpful. more

I stayed at Al-Anbat I for three nights and had a positive experience. The room was clean, if a bit worn around the edges, and the staff was friendly. The atmosphere around the pool and terrace was nice and relaxed. There were several large tables outside under lights where people could read, write, or play cards in the evening. The... more

We often change between cheap hostels and midrange hotes for some more luxury. But this hotel had the price of an expensive midrange hotel, and was less clean and comfortable then the average hostel. besides that there is no good atmosphere and staff is not very friendly. the breakfast was good though, but that was the only positive point. I... more

We are frequent travellers and have done egypt, Jordan and morocco extensively. This place was the worst hotel experience so far!!! We have stayed mostly mid range hotels in the middle east so our comparison to the others in the region. The good Relatively large room, free transport to Petra (also disorganized and no advertised schedule), fast Internet (when it... more
