Avian Leisure has 2 modern and spacious self catering apartments in a magnificent situation on the mountain slope above the penguin colony in Simon's Town, Cape Town: Shearwater is a 2 bedroomed apartment (140 sqm) with 2 bathrooms, a large living area, fully equipped kitchen, opening onto a large wooden deck with breathtaking sea views. Watsonia (70 sqm) is on the side of the house with one bedroom, one bathrooom, large living area and kitchenette - although it has no patio and no direct seaviews, it makes a very comfortable base from which to enjoy the surrounding area. The house overlooks False Bay and is set amidst natural Cape Fynbos - and you can see whales, seals, penguins, sunbirds, sugarbirds and a host of other birds right from Shearwater's main bedroom! An added delight is the regular night-time view of porcupines coming to the garden pond!Avian Leisure’s location in Cape Town makes it perfect accommodation for activities and sightseeing in the Cape Peninsula such as birding, pelagic birding, shark trips, whale watching, kayakking, hiking, sunbathing and swimming in the sea, or just enjoying the natural beauty in the Table Mountain National Park
