Mcleodganj is a more lively place then Dharamshala and the village of Naddi offers proximity to it while giving you the solitude . Hence we chose this hotel in Naddi . Other than the solitude Naddi has nothing to offer . The hotel is located on a road that runs parallel to the snow capped mountains and therefore offers the... More

Besides the apt location, this hotel is itself very well maintained with artistic traditional interiors. It is quiet warm and extremely cozy in winters. Rooms are nicely decorated, clean and have adequate facilities. The family suits (rooms having adjoining bunk bed rooms) especially are something that one should not miss. In winters also we rarely had complaints about hot water.... More

Stayed there for 2 days....Its a decent hotel. Away from hustle bustle - you can walk down the street and have a good view on Dhauldhar range of mountains. Infact , people staying at other location come here for scenic beauty. Rooms are decent and service is good. The resturant ambience is good and the food awesome. Recommended if you... More

Rooms were pretty basic, no hot water when we stayed! Had to request hot water in buckets for our shower! Walking distance to sunset point and lake (which is not that spectacular in my opinion) The hot breakfast and dinner were good. Hotel is outside of main Dharamsala about a 10-15 drive away.

I was at Una Dharamshala recently and found the hotel ideal for stay of a family. The lobby has an adjoining well laid out restaurant which gives a large feel. The rooms are large and comfortable. While most rooms can accommodate extra bed comfortably and still have place to move around, there are some rooms which have a provision of... More

Each room has lovely homely feel, made up very nicely. Gets cold in the evenings, they don't have duvets, take a hot water bottle bag! Lovely comfortable seating and character everywhere. Would not recommend trying to get up and down the hill after dark though, even with a driver as the road up there is narrow and steep.

Bring cash because that is all they accept - rather “the card reader is down” every day! This hotel is 11 very rough, very steep, very winding KM from Dharmshala, so you will need a driver. Nothing much around the hotel, a little place selling beer and wine around the corner and lots of construction. Dinner doesn’t start till after... More

We had booked hotel UNA for a family gathering. The booking was done well in advance. Experience with the sales team was good. They were helpful in planning for the stay of the large group as well as reassured us of best of services from them. The hotel website has limited & unimpressive set of photos to give the actual... Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The hotel is based on a theme of nature, gods and colours of the environment. Hills and woods go together hence cedar is used in the rooms to ingrain the vitality of the mountains in this hill retreat. Every room has a separate theme and colour pattern that would bring an enigmatic charm in life form and psyche. Sit outs from every room bring you close to the encumbrance of nature. A remote village in the circle of the Himalayas, a place as high as 7000 ft above mean sea level, the max temp is around 30 degree C while in winters it is covered under snow. It's a place where winds whisper through the cedar trees bringing in verdant freshness. The hotel overlooks the village teeming with vitality, while the Dhauladhar mountains towers over with snow and cloud capped hills. A place far away from the maddening crowd, providing you a place of solitude and privacy. The hotel is close to the sacred Dal Lake, and many temples. One can go out on nature walks in the close by woods which is replete with birds, gushing streams and vegetation. ... more   less
