Went there last weekend. Have to say, the owner of Padma Guest house is the best ! Very cooperative and helpful. The place was calm and quiet with a beautiful view of the Virupaksha Temple just opposite.

WE stayed 3 nights in march 2013 at Padma. WE has the very beautifull blue room, big with bath ans AC. Padma is a guesthouse kept by a very Nice famille. people have all been very friendly and helpfull. padma is a place where you feel st home.

The family is very friendly. Padma allways trying to help. Sagar her sun allways smile, and tries to make sure you have any think you need. it is very central so you dont waste time trying to get across the river. room was clean, clean sheets etc. great advantage is you can leave your bags their for the day after checking out and go back and shower etc. they can book onward journeys but it can be pretty pricey so your best going into the bazar... Padma's is centrally located in Hampi with budget rooms that are simple but as always you get what you pay for. There is a lovely roof terrace with views and the food is good. we came as a group of 9 person and we had 8 rooms so we could check everything...a great place to stay in Hampi, really great family, good rates, good food, what do you want more... The place has a great view from the patio too...
