Its an old palace with modern amenities. Loved it. We were given rooms in the new section with our room near the pools (next to the ones facing the pool), with a nice patio with chairs and all ... Service was good and prompt. Good linen and comfortable beds. Rooms are huge!! Nice Indian breakfast complimentary with our package. more

We stayed two nights at this hotel. They gave us the Bourbon and Goodard suites, but they were clearly not worth the price. The suites were dark, without any charm and unconfortable. Its a 19th century palace converted to a hotel. The ambience and the history associated with it makes it a great place to stay. It gives you an idea about how the olden day rulers lived. The location , greenery and the food were great. It also has an excellent swimming pool. more
