Why does everyone else stay in the height of summer when I imagine it is far too hot? In April it is wonderfully peaceful, the snowy mountains look magnificent and the wild flowers are everywhere. We returned again to Anniska after they had completed their refurbishment this year - and it was wonderful. The apartments are great - clean, spacious but also thoughfully designed with lovely extras - fabulous linens, great toiletries. The Anniska is a wonderful place for super satisfying rest and relaxation. This place is plain vanilla: basic, spotlessly clean, comfortable and inexpensive. It is a convenient place to stay but it is not an interesting place to stay. Previous descriptions were quite accurate. It is what it is. more
