Went on vacation of a lifetime with my husband, and arrived in Nafplio, Greece. Discovered the BEST pension in town, PENSION ACRONAFPLIA, room was pristine clean and we had a water view of the seaside. So romantic. Furnishings were traditional greek charm with modern ammenities. Service was excellent, with front desk clerk advising us on which restaurants to visit, where... more

The first night we stayed in a room that was perfect! Very cute.Unfortunately they didn't get our reservations for the next two days so they put us in another room that was horrible. No AC, old bathroom, so miserable...but very Cheap! (try not to get this room though) Great location, in the center of the shopping and restaurants. more

We found this place on Tripadvisor and it had mixed reviews, so we were not sure what to expect when we booked it online. And we were not disappointed. It is not a fancy modern hotel, but a cute place with a character. Located hilltop above the town, so after a nigh out it gets a little tricky to find... more

Our first room was very basic. It had a portaloo-fashioned bathroom installed in the room. The balcony felt too unsafe to sit on. It sagged as you moved. Did have a tv and good a/c. Spent the night and were rudely awoken at half past 7 in the morning by builders hammering on the other side of the wall in... more

The Acronafplia is a quaint hotel with character. The pension has more than one building, so it is a walk to the lobby. The building I stayed in was nice. The room was spacious with a rustic style and private balcony. I think the Acronafplia was a good value, as many other places to stay in Nafplio are greatly overpriced.... more

My family of 3 arrived in Nauplion without a reservation. We checked a number of places and they were all full. We then checked with Acronafplia and they only had one room left, one without air conditioning (AC) or a private bathroom. The price for the room, considering no AC or bathroom, seemed reasonable to us. Since we were beginning... more

Upon arriving, we quickly realized that our online accodomations were not going to honored for what we had had booked. We had requested 2 triple rooms but were informed that they did not have this available. What they did have was a chair that made out into a bed for 2 children to share. The accomodations were filthy. The shower... more

Our family of 4, travelled throughout Greece in August '09. We booked a New Class A apartment for 4 more than 6 months before the trip started. Email communication went well, we received a final confirmation. Upon arrival, our apartment had been given away! We were told our credit card had been denied and that he had tried to email... more

This property is a dump. Owner is an aloof and does little to help anyone. He and his staff were not friendly nor helpful in any way whatsoever. Aside from the owners rude behavior, the rooms are very old, dirty and smelled of mold. We found trash in the bath of one room and dirty towels. The air conditioning system... more

We stayed for two nights in the rooms located in Acronafplia. We had to choose this hotel as the only option avaliable. In any case, our impression when we first met the owner was very bad. He was inpolite and very badly educated, having awful manners in dealing with the customers. He let us book the room conditional upon his... more
