Took my mother to Ireland to discover our roots and heritage. Choose Flemingstown for it's central location in southern Ireland for day trips - perfect, plus the actual location of Flemingstown near Kilmallock was beautiful with green hills, fields and nature. Nothing is unattended to by the hostess down to fine furnishings, welcoming baked treats, excellent meals, and always being... more

My dream since I was a child was to someday go to Ireland, and even though it took awhile, I, with my family, finally made it last August. As you... more

Like others we had a little trouble finding the house. But the Irish are so friendly and helpful it was a wonderful experience traveling the country side finding our way. Imelda greeted us warmly with a late afternoon tea. The house was wonderful and private, exactly what we needed. More space for the 4 of us to spread out, much... more

Flemingstown House is the perfect place to stay while visiting southwestern Ireland. All the sites of the area are an easy drive away. Imelda is a perfect host, and the old country farm house is charming and immaculate. The rooms are large and cozy, and the furnishings equisite. We were there for five days and enjoyed every minute. more

We arrived late but were warmly greeted by our host. She knew we had a long day (arriving after 22:00) and insisted upon tea and... more

Spent the last 2 nights of our 2 week trip to Ireland here with Imelda, and wish we could have stayed longer. We were greeted so warmly upon arrival, and as it was cocktail time, Imelda brought ice to our beautiful, antique filled room, on a silver tray, with Waterford Crystal glasses. Breakfast was delicious, everything home made. This is... more
