Having had to stay at this hotel three times now since just before Christmas, I have to say that the experiences listed here do not seem to match ours. Yes, you will always have revellers (last visit it was a wedding party at 3 a.m. laughing and joking at the top of their voices on their way to their rooms).... more

Riverside Park is beside the River Slaney, there is a beautiful bankside with a pathway that is a lovely walk but beware, the locals use this to exerise their dogs and a lot of them do not clean up after them - so beware that nice pair of shoes. There is also a problem with the local "petrolheads" racing up... more

The hotel was booked for us as part of a golf package and we certainly weren't disappointed. It has a superb location overlooking the river Slaney and is a good central base for touring the area.
