Nebesa (translates as 'heaven') is about 900 m up in the foothills of the Soca valley just 1 km from the Italian border. Described variously as a 'chalet hotel' and a 'mountain
retreat', it's pretty much perfect, offering peacefulness with incredible and ever-changing views of the mountains and valley .
Nebesa apparently started out as an old ski lodge, but with the help of a top Slovenian architect, its owners, Katya and Bojan Ros, have turned it into a fabulous, tranquil hideaway.
Each of the four two-person chalets comprise a downstairs sitting/dining area plus a small kitchen and a shower room. Design is clean and minimalistic. Cable internet connection is included. Upstairs in the eves there's the sleeping platform. The bed is ultra comfortable but it's easy to hit your head on the steeply sloping ceiling.
