This is a much bigger hotel than you would guess until you walk around it. It is very well appointed and there are some great rooms. It is worth being carefull and asking for the Tower rooms. And make sure that you know that you are paying per person not per room (which is more usual in Spain). We got... more

On arrival at Es Port we were pleasantly surprised. An old building full of interest and charm, with more modern extensions blending in perfectly. The rooms are pleasant and airy, the bathroom well equipped, and despite previous reviews, towels were clean, thick & fluffy, and changed whenever requested. The food was of a very good standard at both breakfast and... more

This was a lovely place to stay, and different to your usual 3* star hotels as it had a lot more character. The old part of the hotel was very quaint and made for some very pleasant and relaxing drinks in the evening in the bar area outside. We paid for the cheapest double room, and we ended up with... more

Having never been to Mallorca, what a surprise it was to drive away from Palma, through the mountains and being deposited in a stunning hotel with a fabulous location. We were visiting for my husbands 50th birthday, mainly to experience the Soller to Palma railway (which is a must!!), to have the pleasure of experiencing such a welcoming and comfortable... more

The Es Port is set back from Port De Soller enough to feel secluded. The main building is very pretty and the more modern extension is fine. Food was good and there is a lovely outside terrace to have dinner on. There is also an additional terrace for drinks which is particularly pretty in the evening. Port De Soller itself... more

Turned up here on spec and asked for a room for one person. Was given the room directly above the archway into the reception courtyard in the old building. Great room - huge, with a four-poster bed and big bathroom. No balcony but full-length french windows. It was a bit pricey for November (the hotel is actually better value in-season... more

We spent almost two weeks here in July. We booked the hotel through a travel agency as part of a package with flight, rental car, accomodation and half pension included. We were happy with the price and even happier with the hotel. If we had to describe the hotel in a couple of words, we would say: ''IT MAKES A... more

For a quiet and pleasant stay we recommend this hotel build in an ancient style, not as one of those modern "boxes" allong the shore. The food in buffet-form is good, we ate always in-side in the airconditioned restaurant where we had the excellent service of Juan, the headwaiter, who's retiring on november the 16th 2008. The rooms are basic... more

We have just returned from a week at this hotel booked with Thomas Cook. The hotel is lovely when entering, very old & like a castle. The bedrooms on the other hand are basic with no privacy at all on your private balcony. Our sheets were not changed all week & some of the towels were old , grey &... more

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. There are many positives and only a few negatives. The best thing is the food. Although a previous reviewer mentioned 'own-brand' food, we found the food to be of a top quality. It is a buffet style. In the evening, the quality of the food was higher than other hotels I have... more
