Stayed one night, wished we could have stayed longer but did not have the time. Sheila and Peter were the perfect hosts, my husband spent all his time talking about sheep with Peter, while I spent my time looking around the house, the drawing room especially is great, the gardens are to die for, wished mine looked as good as... Thanks to Sheila my family and i had a lovely stop over on our way to Strathyre. Lovely traditional farm house set in an amazing setting. breakfast was excellent. We will be back. Look out for some unusual sights (namely the peacock)

At the end of a narrow road/long driveway, this is a lovely stone detached house with antlers and stuffed fox heads on the walls. Very atmospheric.I stayed in the ground floor double room (4) - a very good night's sleep, although chilly the bed was snuggly and warm. Telly is small. Room was fairly small with not much room to... We only stayed here 1 night with 2 kids (aged 8 and 9). The setting is idyllic; peaceful and tranquil. We received a very warm welcome, firstly from the dogs and then Sheila. The room was fine and absolutely right for the age of the house. My only drawback is that, although it was perfectly fine for a 1 night... More

We've just come back from Hundalee House and want to thank Shiela for a lovely time there. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquillity afforded by the location, and it was everything we had hoped for. Everything we needed was provided, the Food was gorgeous, the four poster bed provided the best night's sleep I've had in ages. Everything was... More

We had a great stay, and Sheila was a most helpful hostess. Only critism that we had is that the room we stayed in with 4 poster bed was a bit dark due to where the light was positioned. The curtain around the top of the bed took away a lot of the light.

We have stayed here the last 3 years when competing in a local rally. There is always a warm welcome, even though we generally arrive fairly late in the evening. There is plenty of space for parking. The rooms we have stayed in have always been clean and well presented. I like the character of the place, with many interesting... More

Along a narrow icy country lane; minus three degrees centigrade; a pitch dark night; dogs howling in the distance; a large seventeenth country house looms; the lady of the house is waiting in the doorway. Deer antlers look down from the hall balcony, a small dog plays on the entrance carpet under the chandelier. Not the setting for an Agatha... More

Truly a great bed and breakfast with superb service and very accommodating hosts especially to a young traveller like myself. My room was spotless and the bathroom was ensuite with a hot shower and built in soap and shampoo dispenser. The breakfast came with a huge variety of food to choose from and and if course, delicious coffee. I recommend... More

A unique experience taking us back into the past in terms of decor and tradition. Well laid out breakfast table with candle sticks and we were served like the lord/lady in the old manor house by unassuming Sheila. Plenty of choice at breakfast. No problems encountered but be prepared to feel lost if arriving after dark via a few very... More
