Our stay at Glenacre B and B was fantastic. Sarah and Tom were perfect hosts - very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Oak Room and it was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Our daughter thought it was great that there were toys for her to play with as well - she didn't want to go out! Breakfast was... more

Tom & Sarah couldn't have been more helpful from the moment we enquired about our stay, the service and advice was fantastic... Even 'Muddy' the Chocolate Lab gives you a friendly welcome on arrival! All rooms were spotless and tastefully decorated... Cooked Breakfast was 1st class and made with fresh local produce. The only downside was that we never got... more

Michael & I were booked into stay at Glenacre for one night on our first trip to The Borders but as soon as we saw Glenacre, we decided to book for the second night which they accommodated with no fuss. The house is welcoming, bright and cosy all in one, Sarah and Tom are great and Euan was no bother... more

Fantastic location, with a superb view on the river/glen , a nice location with horses, cows and sheep . Tom and Sarah are nice and friendly, the cottage is brand new , perfectly dressed, clean, with large rooms. We had the delightful Oak room; breakfast was luxurious with the full Scottish salmon/mushroom/bacon/egg offer, and many many other things; but Sarah... more

The rooms and the lounge are very spacious and well decorated. It is simply gorgeous, completely updated, tasteful, quiet. Whole heartedly agree with every other review about Glenacre. The room, the service, the location, the garage for our motorbikes and the hospitality are some of the finest that that I have ever experienced. The two elements of a B&B are more than amply covered here - the room we stayed in (Beech) is one of the finest rooms I... more

A warm welcome and the accomodation is beautiful with great surroundings. A cot bed was provided and plenty of room was still left in the room. The breakfast was lovely and set us off for the day. Also had secure lockup for the motorbikes. more

Stayed at this B&B for one night with my four year old son. I highly recommend it. One of the best B&Bs I have stayed in. It is very peaceful and scenic. The room was nicely decorated and furnished, and exceptionally clean. Guests are allowed to use a sitting room which is fully stocked with board games, piano and a... more
