What a wonderful B & B and the best we have stayed in for quite some time. The Hosts Sarah & Tom were friendly and made us feel welcome and at ease. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the stars on a pitch black night - it was wonderful - the food was excellent and plenty of... More

We stopped here after our week in Scotland travelling south to Jedburgh and the Glenacre B&B . Sarah and Tom were very good hosts and the facilities and food excellent. All rooms are on the ground floor, we didn’t use the hot tub – maybe next time as we would certainly stay again. The Scottish Borders are a beautiful area... More

This Bed & Breakfast has to be the best there is bar none! Very friendly owners made our stay very memorable and nothing was too much for them. Room was excellent and tastefully decorated. Food was great and loved barbequed bacon in the morning The outside Hot Tub was magical and looking up at the stars was a lovely experience.... More

Found this b & b through Tripadvisor and you didn't let us down. What a super experience! Tom and Sarah were fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. The hot tub was an extra special way to recover from our long drive and the recommended pub provided excellent food. A wonderful start to our honeymoon - we'll be back! More

Just returned from a long weekend at Glenacre. It was fantastic, room was very nice and had the extra little touches. Hosts were best we have ever experienced and the hot tub was just what we needed after a long day walking. Will definately return to Glenacre when we have a long weekend off. Sarah and Tom made us feel... More

The B& B's in Scotland are great but Glenacre is a cut above every one we stayed at during a 3 week stay in Scotland. The hosts are friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was great, and the accomodations were spacious and spotless. Really enjoyed our stay there. More

Glenacre was recommended to us by family in Glasgow and being unfamiliar with the area we took their advice. The room, service and hosts were amazing and we enjoyed our stay very much. Being able to have an evening meal at the B&B was very much appreciated. We would have no hesitation in recommending Glenacre to any family or friends... More

We enjoy staying at Glenacre with Tom, Sarah and Muddy. It is very peaceful and the breakfast is great. "We like feeding Muddy our left over porridge and the train set in our room is great" - review from our 3 year old. More

We regularly travel to Scotland and the proximity of this Bed & Breakfast to the A68 made it the ideal location for an overnight stay. We were imediately made to feel welcome by the hostess as she showed us round the spotlessly clean property and after being shown to our room she provided us with a much appreciated pot of... More

We have recently stayed at Glenacre for two separate one night stays on our way to and from our holiday destination. After a (very slight) hiccup on our first arrival we had two lovely stays. We were welcomed into their home with hot drinks and homemade shortbread after being shown to our very clean, beautifully decorated room. We had booked... More
