A one night stay at Meadhon when passing through. The room was not the biggest we have ever stayed in, but it was comfortable and clean and was plenty big enough for an overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent and for the price, this B&B is excellent value for money. Allan and Joyce were very friendly hosts and helped out with... more

What an unexpected pleasure! This beautiful B&B perched close to the top of the main street (Castlegate) which runs down through the town, with the old Castle a short way up, and the beautiful ruins of the Jedburgh Abbey only a short walk down. We were warmly greeted by our hosts Joyce and Allan, who couldn't have been more helpful,... more

Meadhon House was a delightful surprise. Breakfast was great with fresh fruit and foods that are adventurous for cereal-eating Americans. The location was fantastic for exploring the borders or just relaxing in the quiet town of Jedburgh. Allan and Joyce were really nice and helpful. I would happily stay at Meadhon House on my next trip to the Scottish borders. more

We stayed at Meadhon House on our way to Derbyshire for a family get together. We were going via the Tyneside area, so decided to stop in Jedburgh, as we'd never been there before. We selected Meadhon through Trip Advisor and were not disappointed at all. Alan and Joyce, the owners, are very friendly and chatty couple and had only... more

We stopped here on a long trip back to the South of England and were made to feel right at home! The guesthouse was very clean and the room was large with an en-suite. In the room there was tea, coffee, water, biscuits and flat panel TV, though we didn't watch much due to falling asleep so quickly in the... more

I am pleased to recommend this B&B very highly - the rates are very reasonable, the home is clean and quiet. The rooms were also very clean with lots of little extras like cookies with the complimentary tea and coffee. Our room had a shower ensuite and the shower was powerful and hot. We had a lovely view over their... more

I received one of the warmest welcomes I've ever experienced on arriving at Meadhon House. Hosts Allan and Joyce are a wonderfully friendly couple who run a lovely guest house a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Jedburgh. I was spoilt for choice when I was shown round the guest rooms, all of which were spotlessly clean and... more

What a charmer this B&B is! The perfect hosts, Margaret and Brian welcomed us warmly and showed us through this delightful B&B surrounded by Brian's wonderful garden. The B&B is centrally located and overlooks the magnificent ruins of Jedburgh Abbey. Our room was beautifully furnished with views over the garden and the abbey. The bed was very comfy and we... more
