Allerton House certainly has the wow factor, from the charming and friendly hosts to the comfortable bedrooms and lounge. The room facilities are excellent, as is the breakfast (try the porridge witha splash of Glayva!). We stayed for one night on the St Cuthberts Way. Chris kindly collected us and delivered us to Harestanes. We had a large comfortable room which we would have been pleased to stay in for longer.
