My fiancee and i stayed here for 3 days last October, it was a last minute get-away and was good value for money. People need to remember that this isnt a 5* hotel, you get what you pay for. Yes, it may look a bit dated & in need of some TLC but it was cheap, cheerful & clean. The... More

The smell was the first thing I noticed entering the hotel, like old chip fat. Our room had obviously been recently decorated and looked very nice, however the lovely curtain didn't cover the whole window which was a problem as soon as the sun came up, the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in and the... This hotel was cheap and cheerful! the decor is bit dated but our room was newly decorated and very nice, the Dining room and conservatory were like a blast from the past but it was still comfortable and the friendly staff make up for it they will help you with anything you need to know about the area! and the... Its a nice place to stay. The staffs are pretty helpful and jolly. Food was really nice with good quantities but the dinning area need a bit of TLC. Would surely recommend to people who are not very fussy and looking for a cost effective nice place to stay. More

Stayed one night, room clean with great view and comfy bed. Staff go overboard to make you welcome and meet your needs never experienced such quality in that department. Great entertainment in the evening. More

For a bunch of guys , on a weekend fishing trip , this hotel has got it all , it is not the Hilton , but the warm welcome , great food , and comfortable rooms , with an en suite , and hot shower , was all we needed. The staff are fantastic and cannot do enough for you... More

The negative reviews of this hotel made me really quite annoyed. We have been fortunate enough to have stayed in numerous hotels over the years, all over the world. What we look for are first cleanliness (which the Munro is), second friendliness (which the Munro is) and third location (the Munro is beautifully located). This hotel is not a 5... More

This place should not be advertised as a nice place to stay. I wouldn't even let my dog in it! The rooms are dark dingy and smelly. The en suite is a built in box with no ventilation. There is no reception, no working television, no light bulbs, no radiators or heating other than a plug in one. No working... More

this is the most noisiest hotel i have ever stayed in the noise went on all night. our room was like a cupboard no room to put anything, ensuite was even smaller than a cupboard, bed would have been comfortable if the hotel had been quiet, maybe we just got time wrong as there was live music, but thats not...
