Severely faded decor needing major upgrading. Breakfast was okay but this wasn't cheap and I expected more. Very offputting for a return trip. wouldn't go back more

The Culag is a wonderful family run hotel, full of local highland charm and people. Great value, and a little more luxurious than I (a humble walker) am used too. A pleasure to return to at the end of the day. Will be returning very soon! more

Stayed here for 1 night - one of the few places to do a room only rate which we did. A large hotel which just doesn't work - the owner's trying their best but the spooky hotel, red paintwork everywhere and lack of people made us think we'de signed up for a murder mystery night! I have just recently returned from a stay at this hotel. The staff are very friendly, very accommodating and will endeavour to meet all your needs. I definitely recommend this hotel, and I will be visiting again! more

We have stayed at the Culag twice in as many months and each time were greeted by friendly helpfull staff, the atmosphere was great and we had a couple of very good weekends in the Lochinver area based there. The rooms were very acceptable and the food was excellent too. I would highly recommend this hotel , its not expensive... more
