Polcraig is a very welcoming, clean and comfortable guest house; and a great place in which to base a holiday if your are visiting NW Scotland. My room overlooked the harbour and had excellent views out to sea. Breakfasts are superb - a treat to look forward to in the morning. Our main reason for coming to Lochinver was for... More

This was my first stay at Polcraig, and it was so good I started planning a return trip when I was still there! On my arrival on 31 May I was warmly welcomed by Cathel. Polcraig is in a lovely quiet part of Lochinver. I had a cosy room overlooking the harbour and, like the entire house, it was spotlessly... More

This B&B was just right - very warm, clean and comfortable accommodation, nice en-suite bathroom and a great, filling breakfast in the morning. Cathel, the owner, was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The location is very convenient. Lochinver itself is a lovely village with great restaurants and a terrific pub, which is just a few minutes walk from the Polcraig... More
