I stayed at the Drumbeg hotel with my 12 year old son for 4 nights during a walking holiday. The Hotel is clean & comfortable. The owners Dawn & Robin are extremely pleasant. The food is of a very high standard & cooked fresh, including breakfast. The bar is typically Highland and comfortable. The locals frequenting the bar are characters... more

If you want to stay in one of the most beautiful places in the Highlands and enjoy stillness and quiet away from the rush of life, go to the Drumbeg Hotel. The views from the hotel are second to none especially in the dining room which looks out over the loch. The light changes continuously over the hills surrounding the... more

My family all ate at the Drumbeg Hotel when staying in Drumbeg in April 2009 and I have to say the service was fantastic. There is not one thing I cant fault. For a small Hotel they offer such a wide range and the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. (always willing to go that extra mile)... more

Situated right in the centre of the small village. Basic motel like room with ensuite facilities. Beautiful views from the dining room windows. Varied choice on the dinner menu with main meal approx £10 Nice little bar to have a few drinks in. Full Scottish breakfast was well cooked hot and filling. more

We had stayed in this hotel before the new owners took over and only because the management had changed did we go back. Our welcome was one of the warmest we had in the week we were in scotland - the rooms are simply furnished but spotless. No complaints about the food either!! delighted to see the bar was open... more

Drumbeg Hotel is in a pretty remote location. Tourists who want to really be in the sticks will like it. Ideal if you like the countryside, walking, fishing or just looking at the coastal views. Otherwise you probably won't like it. To get there you have to travel the last 9 miles (more from the other direction) by single track... more

My husband and I drove the 11 and a half hours to Drumbeg from London... and boy was it worth it. Drumbeg itself is quiet, very beautiful and the hotel is very central to the village. We were warmly greeted by Robin and Dawn and very well looked after throughout our stay. At one point we were the only guests... more

The wonderfull aspect of this hotel is its location which is truely a one off i was a wee bit worried about the 14 mile single track road but this turned out to be the best bit about my whole journey there is a multitude of passing spaces and while we were there we only passed around 4 cars and... more
