After a rainy start we stayed at Patricia's Ruddyglow Park in the lodge for 3 days with sunshine. With a beautiful view of the loch this place is "wow". Go for the Rose room if you want to be stunned every time you wake up in the morning and open the curtains. Although a bit remote the scenery is lovely,... More

Patricia, the owner of this wonderful place, did everything to make our stay a fantastic one. The house is situated on a hill overlooking Loch Assynt with a smashing view from the rooms. The room itself was very luxury with ensuite bathroom. Egyptian linen, everything was very clean and nicely placed. The breakfast was outstanding, fruits, smoothies, bacon and eggs,... More

We loved this place.Patricia was so welcoming; nothing was too much trouble, and our room was one of the best we have seen - large and well equipped, with a wonderful bed and a wonderful bathroom. The breakfasts were also superb. As for the views in all directions - they were the icing on the cake. We really enjoyed our... More

Thank-you so much for taking the time to leave your 5 star review. We were thrilled to read it. I am a little biased in thinking we have some of the most beautiful views in the world so it's always wonderful to meet people that love them too. Thank-you for you kind comments about the bed and the room in... More

This is an absolute gem of a find. As regular visitors to the highlands, we have stayed in many hotels and B&Bs over the years, but this one beats them all. You approach the house by the road which follows Loch Assynt, and were lucky enough to arrive on a beautifully sunny day, with buzzards flying overhead. On arrival we... More

I would LOVE to be able to concur with other reviewers and give a positive review of this Highland 'Country House' FIVE STAR B&B. But the fact is, I can't as; 1. We were unable to stay as the owner had lied about the shower accessibility situation to someone with a disability. 2. It, quite simply, is no more a... More

I’ve thought long and hard about our response and believe that the best way to deal with this rubbish is with the contempt it deserves and say nothing. More

Ruddyglow is a lovely B&B without any doubt and the room we stayed in was very nicely done. We stayed in the Lodge which is as the name suggests a separate lodge about 10-20m away from the main house. It is very large, plenty of room to put your suitcases and still move around with ease. There were very comfortable... More

Good things first: The "B&B" Ruddyglow Park is more than "just" a B&B! It is really amazing, a very beautiful location, exciting view on the loch assynt, beautiful rooms, bath etc. The breakfast was amazing too - different kinds of fresh berries, jogurt, cereals, of course the possibility for a full scottish breakfast, "highland porridge" with a wee dram of... A most stunning location, wonderful room with very comfortable bed and magnificent views. Wonderful hospitality and breakfast fit for royalty. Hostess advised us about the ferry to Handa Island Wildlife Reserve, and sent us off with a packed lunch, where we saw puffins, razor bills, guillemots and numerous other birds. The sun shone and it was a magnificent day.
