Although it was just a short visit - only one night, it has been the most fabulous place of our journey. The peace and freedom I found there war just the right thing. It is the right place to get back your energy if you have a busy job and it is the place I look forward to be again... more

We loved the gorgeous setting, the splendid views whatever weather, the wonderful park, the beautifully decorated rooms (each one with a personal touch), but we most appreciated the privacy of the "lodge". The breakfasts and dinners were just wonderfully made and to our very taste (game and fish and extraordinary desserts), served and enjoyed in a tranquil, friendly atmosphere with... more

After a most successful half term break to Ruddyglow Park in November 2006 my sons (12 and 14) asked to return. Whilst this may have been an excuse to travel by overnight sleeper to Inverness the fact remains that they are as taken by the property, its comfort and style.as i am. We were welcomed back as old friends by Patricia... more

Ruddyglow Country House Date 7th -11th March 2008 Reviewer - Christene Broome My husband and I (no I'm NOT the queen!) have just returned from a four day stay at Ruddyglow Park. We arrived in the pouring rain, roaring galeforce winds and forecast of snow!! We were met by our hostess Patricia who is also the owner. We had booked... more

My compliments to the owners of this wonderful bed & breakfast where I stayed with my family (2 adults and 3 children). We are very fussy about where we stay and usually book large well known hotels. The owners made us feel very welcome, we were given very interesting and helpful information about the area, the rooms were spotless with... more

Wonderful get away break for Christmas. Beautiful room, outstanding food and the most wonderful host. We felt so at home, no rush to get out of bed as breakfast was served whenever we wanted it. The food was first class with produce being fresh and local. All home cooked which was greatly appreciated when my partner returned from a days... more

Utterly disappointed after positive reviews. I suppose the situation on the loch is wonderful, but that has nothing to do with this awful basic B&B. If you like glow stars on the ceiling, then you will feel at home in the ensuite. The glorious view is obstructed by a home made mesh on the window, with condensation in the double... more

Coincidence or not? In late September we had our first ever, Runners; two doctors, from the Edinburgh, Lothian area, that decided it was acceptable behaviour to leave without paying their bill. Interestingly enough, when he signed the visitors book it was accompanied by a glowing report.

Terrific!

What a delight to stay here! Apart from the amazing views of Loch Assynt, the standard of accommodation is excellent. The hostess is most congenial, very knowledgeable about the area and most willing to obtain any information you need. The breakfasts were outstanding and beautifully laid out. I am sure that had I had the foresight to book the evening... more

During our Honey Moon in Scotland we stayed one night in this wonderful house owned by Patricia, and it was the best place where we stayed in Scotland. First of all, Patricia is a wonderful woman always ready to fulfil your needs. We slept in the King-size room, a great room with an incredible comfortable bed where you can peacefully... more

We found a gem and more in the Highlands. We traveled to the Highlands of Scotland looking for the raw beauty of the country side, looking for solitude. What we found was a gem of a lodging. Ruddyglow Park is every thing it's website says and then more. The accommodations are superb, the owner is fantastic and location all caused... more
