We visited Borgie Lodge Hotel in Sutherland, near Tongue, in glorious weather, and had a wonderfully relaxed w/e. The hotel is in stunning scenery, and near golden beaches. I found this place to be a really nice all round experience. A great building, lots of character obviously from it's previous life as a hunting lodge. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms excellently presented. I only ordered a bar snack and had my breakfast but the food was very good. Nice locals too in the bar. more
