Travelling with a friend, and having been traipsing through the UK and Europe for five weeks, we spent a long weekend in and around Plockton, near the Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye.
Seabank is a small bed and breakfast located on tiny roadway, also called Seabank, that runs along the seafront of Loch Carron. Seabank has two double guest bedrooms - the larger Green Room is ensuite while the Pink Room has a delightful private bathroom, decorated in fresh blue and white, that boasts a wonderful old enamel footed bath. Both rooms have views through the cottage garden to the sea. The beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms were warm and the special small touches such as tea and coffee making, a hairdryer, toiletries and books and plenty of tourist information were all provided. My friend and I had each taken a room and really enjoyed being able to "spread ourselves out." Our hire car was safely parked off-street behind the property. The village is not...
