We were Los Mochis in February, 2007. We'd found a hotel recommended in Trip Advisor as being like "Old Havana." It seemed cheap at 400 Pesos, and so we stayed there going into Copper Canyon. It was "Old", and not all that charming.

Coming back, it was full; so we went to a hotel across the street. Wonder of wonders, it was new, very well appointed, really almost a luxury hotel compared to what we'd seen before -- and the nightly rate for a double was only 325 Pesos.

I recommend it highly. more
