Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was an interesting place for anyone to spend their vacation. If anyone is planning to spend their vacation here, please be prepared for disappointments every day. There is only 1 security guard who actually cares about the guests. Thank you, Fabion. The 2nd security guard only watches football/soccer on his tablet & tells paying customers they're phycotic & stupid. Except dingy scratcy sheets, itchy old towels, unable to get hot water daily, some days there is no water. Housekeeping is a rating of 0 out of 5. Had to ask for all amenities every 2nd day. 2 housekeepers are impolite & unpleasant. There is no front desk guest services, supervisors, or managers. If you have tough skin & are on a budget, you can survive here. I would recommend bringing your own sheets, towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, garage bags & you can make the best of the situation. The pool is pretty & the 2 female bartenders are great. Would not return or recommend this guest house to family or friends.

This is the worst place for anyone to spend their vacation. There is rats, roaches, lizard , crab and the door lock need replacing. Also, i had to call the ministry of health to report this place. If anyone is planning to spend their vacation there please not to go there. I went to the doctor and I was diagnose with contact dermatitis on my butt cheek. I had to argue with the owner to fix the place which he Insist of not doing anything about.

Not to mention large covered porch and bench. Beautiful gardens great pool (needs painting) private quiet quaint, Convenient gas bar and store right next door and amazing Armani's restaurant across the road. manageress Nadeesha is a delight and housekeeper Tracy was a star. Gardener working hard and pleasant security staff manning the gate. What more could I want for a private get away.

I spent one week at this hotel in August. The rooms are clean and spacious, the A/C works very well. The bed was very comfortable. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. This is my 12th trip to Jamaica, I have stayed in the 5 star all inclusives. this hotel is very reasonably priced and although it is not an all inclusive, I found it to be much more economical than the big box 5 star properties. Also this is a Jamaican property and it is important to me to support locally owned businesses versus multi-national conglomerates. The restaurant was not open and I am assuming this is because it is off season. There is however, a great little spot to eat across the road (Armani's) and you can get a delicious meal for the equivalent of $4.00 Canadian. So this Jamaidian is happy to recommend this property.

Went to visit a friend. Wasn't sure what to expect, however I absolutely loved it!! The month before I stay down in Negril on the beach which was good too...but I want to stay locally to be near my friends in Green Island....Best choice ever!!! My room wasn't fully ready when I got there but the lovely Terryann gave me the Guesthouse... I had no clue there was an actual guest house. Full kitchen, bath, living area and flat screen tv/cable. Very quiet and peaceful. The staff... the beautiful "Nadisha" (the best ever), Fabion (the guard) and Terryanne (sweetest) treated me wonderfully. I'm going back in a month or so and will surely stay there again. When I wanted to go to Negril I just grabbed a taxi and took a 10 minute ride for $1.75 to 7 mile beach...you can also access wifi in the front area by the office which was a great plus. I felt totally safe as a women travelling alone. If you want to live locally and eat really well across the street at Amani's stay at this hotel!!!! Highly highly highly recommend. Thank you guys for making my stay really nice!

We stayed in the cottage for a week. Everything is super clean! The cottage features a full kitchen and nice living area. The verandah is spacious and was a great place to spend evenings. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. The housekeeping staff kept our cottage spotless each day. Any time we requested additional towels, they were delivered promptly. Ms. Winsome is a wonderful housekeeper. The restaurant has very good food and drinks. The pool is clean and the lounge chairs are comfortable. Security is 24 hours and we always felt safe. We were there for my daughter's 18th birthday. They made it a very special event complete with a birthday cake! I highly recommend Palm Tree. It is only a 5 minute taxi ride from nice private beaches. Ms. Charmi also invited us to attend church with her! Enjoyed the experience! I have also stayed there on solo trips.
