Last time we stayed we felt rooms were tired and old fashioned, this time we were very surprised to have a GREAT deal, upgrade and lovely, clean, large and modern room. Suited me and my two teenagers perfectly.

All good expect the fire alarm went off at 2.30am - it was a false alarm but they couldn't turn it off for about 10 mins. Some of the area's are a little run down, but a renovation is in the pipeline. Otherwise everything was great.

The hotel is quite worn the first room we were allocated was dirty and very worn, the fire alarm went off at 2;30 am and was a false alarm. The breakfast was below average. When trying to call recepion the phone rang out and went to message bank. Location was great plenty to see and do

Great location, average service, room fairly clean (but obvious crumbs on bed side table), 1 mattress had springs coming through, the other was OK, could not sleep in middle of king bed because of ridge between the 2 mattresses Pleasant enough but not 4 1/2 star
