Non smoking room smelled strongly of smoke. They would not provide the facilities we reserved. Managers son and his friends took over the pool scaring our children. "Manager" was rude and insulting, she made no effort to resolve problems at the motel. Bad experience for a family on the road. more

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in August 08. We booked the King Suite. Pros: The room was great. Flat screen tv, small refrigerator, microwave, couch, love seat, and desk. Everyone was so nice at the hotel. Room was great, clean and big.The only problem we ran into was all the panhandlers on and around Beale street.Some were so bold they tried to stop you from walking down the street, I had one guy by the trolley stop that cursed me and scared me. Just your normal hotel. Was driving through Memphis and needed a place. All the hotels I would normally stay at were filled. Nothing fancy about this place, but the beds were great. Better than what you would expect from a budget hotel. more

I checked in...I checked out in a matter of 10 mins. Went to the room, as I walked to it it was filthy, smelly, filled with nasty people..not the workers...the clientele. Oh man, don't stay here. I checked into my room, and there was pee and hair on the toilet, and hair on the sink, shower, and bathroom floor. Awful. Also, the fridge and microwave had not been cleaned in ages, with smudges and dirty spots. The towels felt like sandpaper, and they don't use bleach on their sheets or towels.... more

The housekeeping staff of this hotel robbed us of everything we had left in the room, after we left for the day, our cooler and everything in it was removed from the room. After a day of sightseeing int he Memphis, TN area, we were shocked to come back to our room and find everything missing. It took them over... more

I echo some of the other reviews. This hotel is difficult to find even after the warnings, especially as it was very late when we arrived and we were pretty tired. The Comfort Inn was awful. I wouldn't let my dog walk on the dirty floors (they were black with dirt). The Service was terrible. I asked several times for the front desk clerk's name and she wouldn't give it to me-guess how rude she was!!! Stay away! more
