My husband and I live in Newport Beach but wanted to have a little LA getaway this past weekend, so we brought our 100 pound Ridgeback and stayed for our first time at the Peninsula for a Saturday night. We completely agree that the Peninsula feels more like a small boutique residential property than a true hotel and we absolutely... More

Have just returned from a short stay at this Hotel with my Wife. It was our first time here and we were very, very impressed. The service is possibly the best we have received any where in the world. We were welcomed by the staff and nothing was to much trouble. I am aware that in the usa the staff... More

This is a delightful property on Santa Monica Boulevard which delivers Peninsula style and service in a hotel which could almost be classed as a boutique hotel. The rooms are decorated in a classical, slightly French style, in pastel colours with elegant soft furnishings. Our room had its own entrance hallway with a ladies' makeup table and mirror, which was... More

Without a doubt, this is one of my most favorite hotels in the world. The interiors have recently been completely renovated. It was very comfortable before, but it is now beyond elegant. The service and personal recognition of the staff is better than one might encounter in any small hotel. All of the personnel are friendly, helpful and competent. Everyone... More

Very intimate hotel, great location walking distance to rodeo drive.Very nice rooms, quiet and cosy. The pool is little small in comparaison to the beverly Hills hotel, but still quite nice.I have not tried the restaurant but the breakfast was excellent.Service good , concierges not too attentive though. I stayed here on business on short notice for a convention, when most other hotels were fully booked. I had stayed at Peninsula properties before, but this was quite a bit different than my past experiences in Manhattan or Bangkok. My overall impression is that the service was almost TOO much. The hand-written welcome note, the monogramed pillow case (what... More

From the minute you check in until the minute you leave you are treated out of this world. What exact time would you like your turndown service? A walk to your room and everything explained, also receiving a fruit plate, and what is that a monogrammed pillowcase? They pay attention to every last detail. The service was great at the... More

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations: the rooms were surprisingly large and luxurious, there was extraordinary service from all employees, and the location was ideal and had great access to shopping and restaurants. As other reviewers point out, this hotel is certainly indulgent! You will be escorted to your room where you will find fresh fruit waiting for you,... More

We took a 20th anniversary package, staying 3 nights 26-29Nov11. The purpose of our visit was a family trip to “do Hollywood”: Universal Studios, Warner Bros, Hollywood Blvd etc, etc. The hotel is located on the fringes of Beverly Hills residential areas, close to restaurants and the shops of Rodeo Drive. Well situated for our intended activities. An expensive indulgence,... More
