Across the street from the lake, and a very nice park right there on the lake, this property is close to restaurants and lake activities. The Motel is very basic...bed, bath, functional TV, but it was clean and quiet. It is doggie friendly, with lots of walking area. The area around the parking lot, however, needs to be cleaned of... We stayed at motel 6 in Big Bear mid week in early May, the off season. The motel was priced reasonably, it was quiet and the beds were comfortable. I was traveling with my dog, so I needed a place that could accommodate her. Hardly the lap of luxury, small rooms, but a nice, comfortable, clean, basic room.

First of all I'm in the business, so I have a different perspective then a regular traveler. I was not impressed. My family of 4 (2 young boys , mom and myself) came to B.B. for a nice weekend away. The nicest thing I can say is that the hotel is right in front of the tubing place so that... More

Starting with the price. Around $96 per night for a room during weekends. No microwave, no coffee maker in the room, no free WiFi. Oldest TV set I have seen lately. Towels were cheap and old. Far from the Village. Try to stay away from it.

A big demand, when all else fails! I have stayed here on several occasions. It's not the cleanest place, It's not the quietest, not at all romantic, But when you can't afford those high class hotels or cabins or their all booked up and you need a place to stay, this place always works.Ask for a non smoking room, because... I paid over $100 to stay at this place during the Christmas break, because most other places are full. This is the first time I ever stayed at a motel. My feeling is kind of mixed. On the plus side, the place is pretty clean. The sheets, towels, floor carpets showed the wear and tear, but everything looks pretty clean.... More

On this particular weekend, this was the only hotel with available rooms. I came here with another family for the Oktoberfest festivities, which we have attended for the 4th year in a row. We were able to walk to the festivities because Motel 6 is conveniently across the street. The rooms are very clean but very small. Everything in the... More

If you have ever tried to find a decent hotel in the Big Bear Lake/City area, you are familiar with what drove me to check out the Motel 6. In a moment of desparation, I looked at Motel 6 last February for my boyfriend's birthday. Naturally, being a guy, he did not see a problem. After a long day in... More

The pool looks inviting, the exterior was very tidy, and the air outside the Motel 6 was very nice--like the fresh mountain air should be......looks are deceiving! This is a disgusting, SMOKE FILLED STENCH of a dive, filled with low-class Mexicans, bikers with tattoos, and half breeds (as written in another review on googleplus), each with their own brood. Perhaps... More

Returning home from SoCal and decided to detour a bit and spend the weekend in Big Bear. The area is very expensive and even Motel 6 put us out most of $100 / night. And it is pretty much worth it (shock). There was a car show in town so about 75% of the place were in the show and... More
