We stayed here for 1 night. the room was of reasonable standard. They are equipped for fishing, ie provision for fish cleaning and fish freezing. This didn't interest us as we were travelling from Yosemite to Death Valley. Staff we all friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. more

After a slow & tiring trip, I arrived in Bishop too late to get a room in any of my usual places, but I thought "Why not. It's a national chain." The room was pretty down at the heel, even a crack in the wall. But the shower worked, and I was grateful for the bed & out like a... more

We made a stop here on way from Yosemite to Las Vegas. The room was of a good size and clean. We were at the rear of the motel so did not get any noise. Would recommend although it was quite pricey, but think this may have been because there was a classic car show in Bishop that day so... more

We stayed in the Vagabond Inn on our trip from Las Vegas to San Francisco for around 2 hours until we mentioned the bed bugs biting us. We then called our money in and left the hotel to stay in the really nice Ramada. more

We stayed there on a saturday night, The prices was just right for the value (89$ + tax). The service was nice. The room was clean and the hot-tub was a plus. The free breakfast was great and if you are visiting Yosemite, you will be a couple hours away. more

with the limited choices of reasonably priced hotels in bishop the vagabond is a reasonable option. having both a fridge and micro in the room allows for snacks and keeping perishables. it is also reasonably convenient (approximately 15-20 mins walk into the center of town) and with a Vons market/gas stop around the corner food and fuel are easily obtained.... more

We stopped for 1 night whilst travelling from Yosemite to Death Valley. It's a lovely place with easy access to and from the road (there's pretty much only one road in Bishop !!). Facilities in room = modern a/c unit, fridge (oddly enough situated in the wardrobe !), microwave, iron, ironing board Facilties outside of room = pool -which was... more

Stayed at this motel on the way to Nevada in Sept. satisfied with the room on the ground floor, since we have a dog. On our return trip in November, we stopped and requested a ground floor room again but were told there wasn't any available so decided to try a second floor and it was unacceptable., returned to office... more

Did a walk in to this motel in Bishop after driving from Yosemite. The motel is clean and good value and offers a convienient location on the main highway. Price was very competitive and includes a complimentary breakfast, This is basically cornflakes, coffee and fruit which although simple is enough to get you started for the day. If you want... more
