yes it was a bit quirky, just an overnight stay for us on way down the coast. agree not too much around but we found nice restaurant 5 minutes drive away. our room was at the end of the garden area, great hot showers though and clean linen.

We reserved the 'Memories" room that stated they had a covered private balcony with views to the water. We were greeted when we arrived but for the next two days there was no one on duty. What we got was a filthy patio w/ dirty chairs altho' covered faced the parking lot and a small strip mall. LEt's see what... More

I stayed a pleasant two days at the Bodega Bay Inn. The Inn is owned by a younger man who is very accommodating and knowledgeable about the parks and wineries. I walked down to the bay and out to the ocean, but you can't see the ocean from the inn. My room was large, sunny and warm. I would stay... More

Pretty basic, not really a B&B or hotel. Just a room without really a view. Bed was soft, room was warm. Not really near anything except a funky little coffee shop. The restaurant that was next door wasn't open when we were there. Bodega Bay is an alright daytime spot but you may want to stay in Santa Rosa if... More

I accidentally made reservations at this place when I thought I was booking a room at the Tides. There should have been a warning going off in my head when they said there were no views of the ocean from any of the rooms. I thought they meant that none of the rooms available had a view of the ocean.... More

Obviously this guest had an awful experience. We certainly would have appreciated a heads up if there were things biting him through the night. In fact, we’re a little surprised he didn’t mention that or any serious complaint when he suddenly checked out a day early. If he wanted to hang in his room for the entirety of his Bodega... More

We're celebrating our 10 year anniversary and decided to head to Bodega Bay. No reservations, no plans, because that's how we roll. The first two hotels we stopped at were booked (often the consequence of rolling the way we do), but the Bodega Bay Inn had one room left. They even took $30 off. It was still $190 for the... More

A charming and rustic hotel experience. Room was very basic, but the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of tv channels (not much to do in Bodega Bay late at night) and the whirlpool tub very welcome. Definitely clean, though the furniture was worn. Breakfast was good - toast, cereal, coffee, tea and cocoa. Welcoming but lacking some of the... More

On our way down the coast from Oregon we stayed at the Bodega Bay Inn 1588 Eastshore Rd in Bodega Bay. A feeling of family and comming home greeted us. As one other person pointed out, there are none of the amanities you expect in the major chain hotels, however we did find the common room stocked with plenty of... More

My wife and I were working our way down the California Pacific Coast from Mendocino on a holiday weekend. Our goal was to find one night’s lodging on the coast rather than have to drive inland to find a room. We stopped at the tourist office in Bodega Bay later in the afternoon. The tourist office staff mentioned two places... More

There were none of the amenities you would expect to find at this price. No coffee maker, microwave or refrigerator. Ice was only available in the freezer compartment of a refrigerator in the "common room", which was a joke in itself. It was nothing more than a sunporch with a few tables in it. In the morning found two household... More
