We stayed at this property on a weekend trip to Santa Barbara wine country. The rates are better than most other comparable hotels in the area. The location is good for access to Solvang and all the other attractions and wineries in the area. The rooms are large, clean but a little dated. The breakfast buffet is simple and spartan.... more

There were not alot of options when looking for hotels in the Buellton area that had decent reviews and reasonable rates. Nearby Solvang seemed either more expensive than we wanted to pay or the hotels had horrible reviews. Traveling to Southern Calif from the North, this was about halfway so we settled here to sleep. Grounds were quiet, continental breakfast adequate but if you want a heartier one a coupon is given to you for breakfast walking across the parking lot to Anderson's Split Pea which offers a full menu of homey meals .... including bread pudding :-)... more

Nice hotel. Double bed rooms are large (even for 4 people) and clean. There is a pool and a patio for breakfast. You need your car to go to Solvang, just a few miles away but overall, a very good experience. more

When pricing accomodations in the area I found that weekend rates were extremely high in neighboring Solvang and you had to stay two nights.
