When you enter the place, it looks somewhat old, but don't even worry because inside the facility and the rooms, it's like a completely different place. The rooms look AMAZING. huge beds, new carpet, huge room, mini kitchen... this place knows detail. They even leave you plates and utensils in case you brought a little something something for a meal... more

Went on an overnight getaway with my parents and my two year old son. My son loves to swim, and this was the perfect place. The indoor mineral pool was perfect for my son while the two hot springs jacuzzi were perfect for my parents. It was a quiet getaway, exactly what we were looking for. Only negative was the... more

the hotel and spa is off the main street of Calistoga which is a lovely small town in the heart of Napa Valley, the staff at the hotel were great and very helpful especially when it came to reccomend places to go for food or good wines to buy... the rooms are all cottage/ motel style rooms, very spacious with... more

This was my first visit here and all I can say is their staff along with our personal attendants Bobby, Ellen and Rosie are top notch. The mud bath is so relaxing that you don't want to come out. The rooms are clean and the bed is soft just what the doctor ordered after a good massage. This is a... more

This was our second time at Golden Haven Hot Springs Spa. The first stay was near perfect--good service, spacious room, clean pool and spas. The second stay was not as satisfactory. The check in process was a bit disorganized--treatments scheduled that we had not booked. The room was clean and spacious--the shower was another story. The shower in the room... more

This past weekend we decided to escape down to Calistoga to partake in our very FIRST Mud Bath experiance. After checking the reviews over the internet I decided to make our reservations at The Golden Havens Spa & Resort. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by a very friendly and efficient staff. We opted for the Jacuzzi Room so we'd... more

So the rooms where ok, not the niccest, but good for the price. My mine reason for going was for the spa treatment. Trust me when I say that the spa looks nothing like the pictures. It looks very run down on the inside and they give you a rough polyester robe to wear during your treatments. I tried to... more

We booked the mudbath and massage here for a gilrs weekend to Wine country. The hotel is very 70's, but seemed clean enough. We got an internet special mudbath treatment and hour long massage for 140.00- look for it, but print the coupon. Otherwise they will charge reg price. Read the reviews of the mudbath, we found it fun and... more

At 49, I was a little leery of sitting in mud. I mean all my life I was told to keep mud off and stay clean, but after my visit I have a whole different outlook about mud. After the mud bath, massage and facial, I felt just wonderful. I was even able to sleep without taking my pain medication... more

I booked the couples' mud-baths /jacuzzi /towel wrap treatment last-minute on a trip to Sonoma and I am SO glad I did! The mud-bath was a first for both of us and if you are going to do this treatment with someone, I would definitely recommend ensuring it's someone you know WELL. Shuffling into those baths, nothing is sacred! That... more
