We, my wife and I really love this place. It is like in the country but yet still part of a town. We stayed a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The place was great. The service and care that our two hosts provided was unsurpassed. They helped us plan our whole week, from San Francisco to all... more

My husband and I decided to take a "California Wine Country" trip with our 3 (well behaved) dogs. Before heading out, I did quite a bit of research to find the best "dog friendly" accommodations. I found Meadowlark Inn and read the many wonderful reviews -- I knew instantly that it would be our Napa Valley destination. We arrived in... more

It's been about 10 months since we were here last time, and the Estate is more beautiful then ever. There are new plantings along the driveway and wonderful new sitting areas by the main house and down by the pond. Chickens and guiene hens run free during the day along with wild turkey's. The main house is warm and cozy... more

My husband and I are B&B addicts. We travel around the world and stay in B&B's only. We find them charming and friendly. This place is above and beyound what we exspected. It combines elegance, charm, and hospitality, with out being a cold and inpersonel hotel chain. We love the tranquil setting and the wonderful selection of guests that it draws.The... more

I will start by saying, Wow! My husband and I really needed sometime alone. Away from work, children, and stress. We arrived at a beautiful Estate that made us feel like we where visting family. We had a wonderful room with high ceilings and hugh windows. We could see the mountains in the morning with the fog ... it was mysterious... more

We recently stayed at the Meadowlark during a romantic weekend in the Napa region. The hosts, Kurt and Richard, were courteous but seemed only interested in interacting with guests during the breakfast hour and that's it. Breakfast was very plain, without any choice of entrees and is only served between 9-10. Even coffee is not an option earlier in the... more

Prior to this amazing stay at Meadowlark, we had only stayed at a Bed and Breakfast once, and it was such a terrible experience, that we had since resigned ourselves to impersonal, inadequate Napa Valley hotels. Those days are over. This place is so different... I planned poorly and had not made any arrangements for my first wedding anniversary (potentially... more

My husband and I have been taking yearly trips to the Napa wine country for the last 5 years. I discovered Meadowlark on the Internet back then and we've been going back ever since. I can't fathom staying at another B&B, since we enjoy this one so much and Kurt and Richard take very good care of their guests. I've... more

My advice: trust the reviews and book this place! We did and were not disappointed. Richard and Kurt are terrific hosts and have created a beautiful and peaceful environment that feels a million miles away from the screaming trucks and tour buses of Napa Valley and yet is really only a short drive or walk to pretty and quaint downtown... more

Richard and Kurt looked after my wife and I on our honeymoon so well it was a shame to leave. Our room #1 was a fabulous suite with four poster bed and whirlpool bath and was immaculately decorated just like the rest of the accommodation. The mineral pool is larger than many 5 star hotels can manage and with a... more
