We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel d'Amici, HOWEVER if you aren't capable of climbing two longg flights of stairs with your luggage in tow to the top, then this isn't the spot for you. After eating and sipping our way through wine country, we looked at this one "flaw" as a good fitness bonus. Otherwise, our room was... More

This a great place to stay if you are visiting Napa Valley. We stayed in room one. It was nicely decorated, very clean and a nice size. The hotel is in a great location and the breakfast baskets delivered each morning were delicious. More

Our group of four couples were thrilled to find a property that would take us for one night only (a Thursday) during the middle of the wine "crush." And since there are only four rooms, we had the whole place to ourselves for the night! Calistoga is a terrific community and was very quiet the evening we arrived after a... More

We had a great time at Hotel d'Amici. The rooms are contemporary but not generic. The bed and sheets were soooo comfortable. Loved the set-up--quaint, cozy, well-kept. Loved the giant tub. Room was very well-kept, clean, and attractive. Excellent coffee from local roaster. Will return and recommend to friends More

We had a glich in our electronic reservation and were not able to stay at Hotel d'Amici. The way they handled the situation was so professional it really represents the spirit of hospitality. Michelle made sure we had appropriate accommodations and was very diligent and kind throughout the process. i will make sure that Hotel d'Amici is on the top... More

I have NO idea why others have rated this a good hotel option. Let's start with the fact that when you opened the front door, the plug-in air freshner was beyond potent. When we entered the room, the carpet was worn so bad it was in tread-bare....and more air freshner to boot. At a price of $230 per night, in... More

We are members of the Rutherford Grove wine club, which is connected with Hotel d'Amici. We decided to give it a try over Thanksgiving weekend. What a great find! The room was spacious, well decorated, and very comfortable with a large bathroom and tub, sitting room, and great bed. Each morning we were brought goodies with the little cafe below... More

We just stayed there on a last minute trip. It was a little tough to find and no set parking. However, the rooms where very nice. The bathroom was large and newly remodled. They have put some thought in the little details. Overall, great place and we would stay there again. Right in the center of Calistoga, walking distance to... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights (Friday and Saturday) in room no. 2 and really enjoyed it. We are relatively local and familiar with the wine country, so we didn't need a lot of hand holding. The lack of a front desk didn't bother us. In a pinch, Joaquin, who lives on-site, could help out, but this... More

My husband and I booked a room for Valentines weekend. The room was very nice, only problem I have is that it listed having a queen size bed and it was more like a double bed. We stayed in room 2 which overlooked the main street. It did get a little noisey but not too bad. The breakfast in the... More
