While the surroundings are beautiful and the area very peaceful....the accomodations are in serious need of a makeover! I visited Mayacamas Ranch as part of a women only weekend. My friends and I had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool, hiking, playing games by the patio garden, and sleeping in the comfy beds. There were gorgeous views, pretty gardens, and cool outdoor art. The continental breakfast was delicious, fresh, and healthy. We would definitely go again! more

CAUTION! Absolutely terrible service - totally unresponsive. The place is clearly beautiful; however, the unresponsiveness of the staff and the total lack of follow up was very disappointing. All that is negative regarding the pretentiousness of Napa is embodied in Mayacamas Ranch. more

My husband and I were married here in October of 2006. It was by far the best experience of our lives. Having the entire place just for us and our family and friends is so ideal. My husband and I stayed at the ranch during our vacation. We arrived on a rainy day and found ourselves the only guests on the property. Frankly, the staff seemed annoyed that they had to deal with us. They were perfunctory at best. We stayed in Live Oak 5 which incidentally was their most expensive option. I recently attended a five-day retreat held at Mayacamas Ranch. The food was absolutely the best, the views spectacular, accommodations clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and very service-oriented. Another thing is the Ranch is centrally located to Santa Rosa and to downtown Calistoga (within a five-minute driving distance). I highly recommend Mayacamas! more
