My 17 year old daughter and I stayed here for one night before Thanksgiving. Our room was on the second floor and very clean, quiet, cozy and inviting. We liked the individually wrapped jellie bellies in the room. The staff was wonderful--our check in went smoothly and we LOVED our mud baths and massages. It was just great. We felt... more

Usually my husband and I stay in B and Bs when we go away for a weekend but I decided to give him a break on the frou-frou and go to Dr. Wilkinson's instead. Glad I did! Large rooms, huge bathroom, very comfortable, big bed, quiet, steps from downtown, super nice check in. The huge heated pools are great. We... more

The Ritz it is not. But, they are not trying to be the Ritz either. Clean, comfortable rooms, great pools and a fantastic location. It has been there forever and is still the spot for a mudbath. I read reviews before and after my trip and I am always amazed what some people are expecting. If you are going to... more

The mud bath's are under very bright lights and in a loud non-private room. The whirlpool baths are small bath tubs with an air hose stuck between your feet and not private. The cool down beds and massage beds are not private either just a curtain between you and everyone so you hear all the talking and it's hard to... more

My wife and I stayed in a Classic King room for our anniversary in November and we are completely satisfied with the experience. The accommodations, facilities, and staff were as good as it gets. The bed even had pillow-top padding that made us just sink into sleep. My only regret was that we didn't have enough time for the mud... more

We spent 4 nights at this wonderful spa in a newly decorated/remodeled king room. We treated ourselves to relaxing massages....highly recommended!! We enjoyed soaking in the huge indoor mineral pool on the cool fall nights and slept like babies in the ultra plush king bed. Quiet and relaxing.....We will definately return. more

My husband and I stayed here for an evening on our trip to the Napa Valley. I chose this hotel because it is located just outside Napa Valley but didn't charge us an arm and a leg. The check-in was hassle free and the room was spacious and clean. For $109/night, I couldn't complain. We had free parking, we were... more

Our family for 3 generations has visited Dr. Wilkinson's in Calistoga. Why? This family owned business is consistent in its management when it comes to a warm welcome, superb clean and comfortable facilities and reasonable pricing. When ever we visit...we can expect the same quality of service at all times. I don't know of another spa that has 3 different... more

Calistoga is a cozy and romantic upmarket Western style town and Dr Wilkinson's is superbly situated near the centre of the town with access to some really good bars and restaurants. We arrived and were upgraded which is always nice. The beds in the rooms were huge and very comfy and although the decor of the rooms is understated this... more

Three generations of our family have been making a trip to Calistoga at least twice a year. We have strayed and stayed at the other spas on the strip and never do they compare to Dr. Wilkison's. We find the service at Dr. Wilkison's to be the most accommodating, friendly and professional. This quaint, unpretentious retro hotel is conveniently located... more
