I booked this room about 2 days before our visit to Cambria. First off...it's Cambria!!!! If you've never been here before it's about one of the best most heavenly places on the California coast you'll ever visit! We got the room that you see right as your pulling into the "alley" parking area. It's a suite ($269) with a patio... more

The rooms were small but OK. Bathroom very ordinary, much like an inexpensive motel, but this one cost $190/night! Place seems to be very poorly built as one could hear all the pipes when toilets flushed or showers were on. I could even hear muffled conversation in the next room. Great location and good breakfast included in the price, however. more

Stayed for 1 night while traveling up the CA coast. Originally had a king with no view but upon arrival asked for King with patio/ocean view. I'm so glad we did, it was lovely, watching a beautiful sunset over Moonstone Beach. I would suggest getting a room with a patio, I believe there are only 4 of 5 of them.... more

Cypress Cove Inn was lovely (right across the beach) on Moonstone Beach Drive. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable. The fireplace was a nice touch. Just step outside the Inn and there it is, "the ocean" (you just have to cross the street to get to the beach area). We had a dinner package as well. What a... more

We just returned from a long weekend, 3 day 2 night, in Cambria celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary. We stayed at a downstairs oceanfront room with a fireplace and patio. The patio was probably the best part. Unbelievably relaxing and had wonderful weather. The room was nicely decorated but the bathroom could use some updating. The towels were not the... more

Before I went to Cambria, I did some research and decided to stay at the Cypress Cove Inn. We stayed at one of the 4 ocean view rooms downstairs. It has a nice double doors looking out to a small patio and out to the ocean across the road. The room is very nice and the bed is comfortable. There... more

Nice B&B, helpfull staff. The rooms where ok, clean but small. Had som problems when checking inn. I had booked the room via the hotel web-page, but when we arrived the claimed that we allready had stayed there one night and left 3 days ago. Funny, never happend before. Stayed here 9/10-9/12. Pluses: great location on Moonstone Beach and O.K. decor. Liabilities: skimpy on the Continental Breakfast, no P.M. wine and cheese (only cookies). Under new managemet as of 8/1/04. Cost cutting? Would stay here again if nothing else available in the area. Suggest upper-floor ocean view rooms as lower floor rooms view mostly the road. Well positioned for... more

We loved the charming english cottage ambiance of the Cypress Cove Inn. Our spacious ocean view room with fireplace was the perfect spot to watch the surf and sea otters. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh pastries and croissants from a local bakery. Friendly and helpful staff, we will definitely return! more
