I stayed just one night for my anniversary and really loved it! The place was really cute and the owner was super friendly. They have a nice little breakfast in the morning (danishes from the local bakery, fruit, and juice), and they allow pets!! We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony and it was a really nice... more

Excellent place to stay when in cambria. The rooms may not be top class, but we liked it here. The beach is just a few minutes driving away. Do not miss the sunset! Very friendly staff. more

Yes it is not the Peabody in Memphis...but it is very cheap, clean and friendly and situated in Cambria which is sooooo much nicer and quaint than the terrible motelcountry down the slobe from Hearst Castle. Yes, its a quite basic room and the walls could use some new paint, but we didn't hesitate one minut to put our baby... more

My husband planned a anniversary trip for us to the west coast. This was a very nice, reasonably priced motel. A home town feel with excellant service. I love the decorations and attention to detail on the property. I would recommend it. Be sure to eat at the Sows Ear in the cute little town it was amazing! more

The Creekside Inn is a delightful getaway. Check-in was prompt and easy, with the proprietor giving us suggestions for a dinner reservation, which they made for us in minutes. The fresh-baked pastries for breakfast were delicious, and we were able to enjoy them on the balcony of our room, overlooking a peaceful wooded area. The Inn is on the sunny... more

This hotel management was very friendly. The rooms were clean and very nice and the pasteries in the morning were a nice touch. It is a small drive to the coast but right on the edge of town for shopping. more

Creekside Inn was a cute little spot but need to understand it is really a very basic accomodation. You won't find any plush luxuries or great interior-designed rooms here. Its a motel, plain and simple. Very clean and nicely planted garden boxes...it was tricky getting a signal with our laptop which happened to be a bit of an issue for... more

Our stay at Creekside Inn was wonderful. The inn met my three most important criteria: cleanliness, comfortability, and quietness. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The walls were a little thin but overall people were quiet during sleeping hours. I appreciated the inn's effort in encouraging visitors to be mindful of the environment. There was a small... more

The owner (Tim?) made our trip. We were visiting the Central Coast for the first time (we're from SoCal) and other than Hearst Castle we didn't really know what to do. While checking-in we spoke to the owner for suggestions. He asked us questions on what we were interested in, what we liked to do, how much time we were... more

We were shopping around for a place to stay in Cambria for two nights on our way up the coast. We'd stayed at the Cambria Pines Lodge on a previous trip in the off-season but found the peak season rates too high. We'd also heard good things about the Blue Bird but they didn't have a room available for both... more
