First impressions are important. The guest services host in the lobby was friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean, warm, and welcoming. This is the first time that I've stayed in a hotel with a fireplace. It was lovely. We had an oceanfront room with a beautiful view. My husband and I like to listen to the ocean at night.... more

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night on our way to LA. We loved the place from the moment we stepped in. The staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful. Moonstone Beach, a lovely beach, is right across the street, and that's a major selling point here. Nice place, clean, priced right, well decorated, helpful staff, nice room (a bit small), nice breakfast, great location. It's fun to hear the ocean waves when you wake up in the morning. more

We spent Valentine's weekend at Sand Pebbles...perfect from beginning to end. Even though we arrived on 2/13, a Happy Valentine's Day chocolate cake greeted us in our room, what a wonderful surprise.
